Good Morning, Sheetheads!
BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
One of Hollywood’s largest prop houses, 20th Century Props, is closing after falling victim to the recession and is selling off its vast collection of movie memorabilia as some 94,000 items from films including “Titanic” and “Cleopatra” go under the hammer today through Saturday (NET: http://tinyurl.com/mjp3zz) . . . “Lost” stars Evangeline Lilly (29) & Dominic Monaghan (32) are reportedly engaged a 2nd time, 2 years after scrapping their initial plans to wed (their relationship’s becoming as complicated as their TV show) . . . 39-year-old model Rachel Hunter (ex-Mrs Rod Stewart) is moving back to her native New Zealand from Los Angeles to help deal with the pain of a broken engagement to 27-year-old NHL hockey player Jarret Stoll (LA Kings) who called off the wedding without offering a reason (2 minutes for ‘Unsportsmanlike Conduct’!) . . . 35-year-old former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham tells “Hello!” magazine she wants to stay in LA for the sake of ‘her career’ (huh?) . . . 54-year-old movie actor Jeff Daniels (“State of Play”) tells “Chicago Sun-Times” he refuses to move to LA for the sake of his career, claiming that living away from the Hollywood bubble in his hometown of Chelsea MI (pop 4,500) keeps him sane (he actually pays for his own flights to California business meetings) . . . 32-year-old British actor Orlando Bloom is the latest star to quit the “Pirates Of the Caribbean” film franchise, reportedly joining Keira Knightley in walking away from the Disney series (which has been flogged to death anyway) . . . After a stint in hospital, 23-year-old drug-addled actress Mischa Barton is ‘doing great’ and preparing to begin filming on “The Beautiful Life” (CW), according to the show’s creator, Ashton Kutcher (who stands to lose a pantload if she doesn’t get better).

DAY TRIPPER:
If you’ve consumed a lot of caffeine, say the equivalent of 7 cups of coffee, you are 3 times more likely to hear voices than if you’d restricted your caffeine intake to less than 1 cup, according to psychologists at the University of Durham in England. Their recent study shows that over-ingesting the stimulant slightly increases your risk of experiencing other hallucinations as well. (Yeah, like earlier this morning I had a hallucination that I was wide awake.)

HOW NOT TO GET THE JOB:
A new poll asks managers the stupidest things people have said during job interviews. Among the worst …
• “I would be a great asset to the events team because I party all the time.”
• “I get angry easily and I went to jail for domestic violence. But I won’t get mad at you.”
• “If I get an offer, how long do I have before I have to take the drug test?”
• “Cigarettes are getting more expensive, so I need another job.”
• “I’ve never heard such a stupid question.”

LIAR, LIAR PANTS ON FIRE:
Studies in which people keep ‘lie diaries’ suggest that we deliberately mislead others in 25% of interactions that are not just fleeting conversations. In total, we lie and are lied to about 200 times a day. Modern technology isn’t helping, as texting and email just seem to make truth-bending even easier. What’s interesting is that usually we’re fooled by lies. Despite urban myths about telltale signs (ie: lack of eye contact), we’re generally no more successful at detecting lies from facial clues than using a coin-toss. (What’s your best way of detecting a lie?)

BS THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO WHILE DRIVING:
A recent poll reaches the consensus that these distractions are a total no-no if you want to be a safe driver …
• Putting on makeup.
• Talking/texting on a cellphone.
• Looking at a map or reading a book.
• Consuming very hot food or beverages.
• Arguing with passengers.
• Attempting to restrain pets.
• Playing handheld games.
• Making out or having sex.

BS THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO VIA TEXT MESSAGE:
Texting has replaced much of our face-to-face time because it’s quick, discreet, and easy. There are certain situations, however, that texts just can’t articulate properly. Among them …
• Breaking Up: The person on the other end of the PDA deserves an in-person relationship kill. Text to set up a time and place to talk, but leave the news to old-fashioned hot air.
• Coming Out – Chances are the person you’re coming out to will be shocked about your announcement. If you’re ready to come out, sit them down and tell them how you feel in person.
• Health Issues – Texting your pregnancy status to a partner or discussing mental health or other issues over text can send a shockwave through your device. Get up front and get the support you need with a face-time talk.

THE GODIVA OF THE MIDDLE EAST:
Dubai’s Al Nassma, the world’s first chocolates made from 100% camel milk, will soon be marketed internationally. The company is currently in talks with upscale British department store Harrods and San Francisco’s Chocolate Covered to sell its products. With 3,000 camels on its Dubai farm, it currently sells through its own store as well as in luxury hotels and on private airlines and hopes to eventually meet a production target of 100 tons per year. Why should you try camel chocolate? Camel milk reportedly contains 5 times more vitamin C than cow milk, less fat, less lactose, and more insulin, making it a good option for diabetics and the lactose intolerant. (So … will that be one hump or two?)
