★ Shia LaBeouf has been released on a $3500 bond, seven hours after being arrested in Georgia for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. The actor was taken into custody at 4AM Saturday. That’s the sixth time the LaBeouf has been arrested, with a police record stretching back to 2005. He has been previously booked for assault with a deadly weapon, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct, as well as for refusing a breathalyzer at the scene of an road accident. LaBeouf’s most recent arrest was in January, following an altercation at his anti-Trump performance art ‘He Will Not Divide Us.’

★ Ben Affleck has been spotted with his new girlfriend for the first time. Affleck and SNL producer Lindsay Shookus were seen leaving their dinner date at Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles. The 44-year-old actor, who filed for divorce from wife Jennifer Garner in April, and Shookus have apparently been seeing each other since 2015.
(So NOW what happens when Jen decides Ben should go on vacation with her again?)

★ Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard welcomed their second son on Saturday. The couple posted the announcement to their website that they are excited to welcome Samuel Scott Dillard…after 40 hours of labor! They also revealed that their new son arrived nearly a month before his due date.
(Thank God! He weighed in at 9lbs. 10oz.!)

★ Nelsan Ellis, the actor known for his role of ‘Lafayette’ on the HBO series ‘True Blood’, has died at the age of 39. According to his manager, Ellis passed away after complications with heart failure. As Lafayette, the cook at Merlotte’s Bar and Grill, Ellis was one of the cast members who stayed with True Blood up until the final season in 2014.

★ Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are married. The ‘Dancing With the Stars’ pros tied the knot on Saturday at Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York. Chmerkovskiy’s brother and fellow DWTS pro Val Chmerkovskiy served as best man. Other DWTS wedding guests included Tony Dovolani , Rumer Willis, Sharna Burgess — all of whom were in the wedding party — Jenna Johnson, Nyle DiMarco and Candace Cameron Bure.

BS MUSIC NOTES:
• Kesha – says she felt like she was “five years old” when Jerry Seinfeld denied her a hug on the red carpet. But Bob Dylan made up for it by giving her a ‘healing Bob Dylan hug’ when they met at a music festival. Last week, she debuted a brand new sound with ‘Praying’, the first single from her upcoming album, ‘Rainbows’.
• Green Day – An acrobat fell 100 feet to his death during a performance before they took the stage at a music fest in Spain. After taking some heat for playing their show less than 30 minutes later, the band issued a statement saying they weren’t informed of the accident until they walked off stage.
• Tupac Shakur – Kendall and Kylie Jenner are being sued by photographer Michael Miller for using his photos of Tupac Shakur without his permission. The shirts were part of a limited-edition capsule collection featuring altered musicians’ images which were on sale for $125 each. They were pulled from the site when reps from other artists complained.
• Jet – released their first new song in seven years on Friday — and it’s a far cry from the garage-rock style of “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” from the early ’00s. For their return, the Aussie rockers teamed with Italian electro duo the Bloody Beetroots for what they’ve categorized a ‘double single’.
• Eddie Money – A California state court refused his motion to dismiss some of his former drummer Glenn Symmonds’ claims that he was wrongfully dismissed from Money’s band. The suit was filed in 2015 after Money decided to replace his band with his children. Symmonds’ musical partnership with Money went back to 1974.
• Toby Keith – his daughter Krystal and her family were in a serious car crash on July 4th with a drunk driver. The singer-songwriter has posted two horrifying photos of the Mercedes-Benz SUV she and her family were driving at the time of the accident. Everyone is reported to be alright.
• Lady Antebellum – have been singing Shania Twain’s 1998 hit ‘You’re Still the One’ on their current ‘You Look Good’ tour. Shania herself came to see their show in Toronto last week and was able to see them perform her hit track.
• Miranda Lambert – says if she could have dinner with anyone from history, she would want to “eat chicken fried steak and drink a lot” with Elvis.
DO YOU SMELL CHOCOLATE?
Snortable chocolate is now on the market in the U.S. The cacao-based powder supposedly gives users (sniffers?) the boost of a stimulant along with an endorphin rush AND a seratonin rush, according to the manufacturer. ‘Coco Loko’ also provides ‘euphoric energy’ and ‘calm focus’ to those who aren’t grossed out with the thought of inhaling a dark powder into their nostrils. Although the product is not regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, it has been met with widespread skepticism from the medical community. A spokesperson says that the product is probably equal to about two energy drinks. The raw cacao, taurine and B6 blend sells for about U.S. $25 for 10 ‘servings’.
(Although I suppose the size of a serving would depend on the size of your nose!)

A TIP AROUND THE WORLD:
Tipping is usually done on a percentage basis depending on service, and depending on the industry. In some countries, a tip is actually considered offensive. Here are 15 countries with very different tipping styles:
▪ Greece: Restaurants expect tourists to tip 5 to 10 percent. Some restaurants will round up the bill, and if that is the case, there is no need to leave anything else.
▪ India: In general, leaving about seven percent of the bill at restaurants is perfectly acceptable. On the other hand, many restaurants in New Delhi and Mumbai add a service charge ranging from 5-10 percent, so there is no need to tip on top of that.
▪ Japan: Absolutely no tipping in Japan. The Japanese have very high service standards and tipping might be considered rude. If your tip is refused, don’t be offended; they are just being polite. (No tipping? Sounds like that restaurant I worked in. Oh, it was just me who got no tips?)
▪ China: Tipping at restaurants in China is not customary. But because of the amount of tourists, it’s become common to tip tour guides and drivers as well as hotel staff for good service.
▪ Canada: Tipping is standard practice in restaurants and hotels. Canadians usually expect between 15 percent and 20 percent for good service. (And they expect pretty much the same for shoddy service…!)
▪ United Kingdom: It’s customary to tip between 10 percent and 15 percent in restaurants, although make sure you take a look at your bill. Most restaurants will add the service charge onto the bill, so you don’t really have to leave anything extra. If the service was exceptional, a small addition is nice.
▪ France: Tipping (especially in Paris) is included on the bill, so watch out for a line item called “service compris” when you go to pay – that’s the tip and you don’t have to include anything extra on top of that. If the bill doesn’t say that, 10 percent is more than enough. (I’ve eaten in lots of places where 10% is more than enough!)
▪ Mexico: Is another country that might have the tip added to the bill under the word “propina.” It’s customary to add 30-40 pesos ($2 USD) to a round of drinks or 10 percent of the bill if it’s not already included.
▪ The Netherlands: Tipping is minimal and you can simply round up the bill or leave five percent if the service was exceptional. People in the hospitality industry earn higher wages in the Netherlands than many other countries, so tipping is neither expected nor required. (This place just keeps getting better and better…!)
▪ Australia: Doesn’t seem to have a consensus on tipping etiquette. Some people tip, some people don’t, and it’s not looked down upon if you don’t leave anything. So if you feel like you had great service and feel like leaving a tip, go for it.
▪ Thailand: You don’t necessarily have to tip in big cities like Bangkok, but unlike Japan, it’s not rude if you do decide to leave a few baht on the table when you leave. You can also tip porters at hotels and airports.
▪ Turkey: You usually can’t tip on a credit card, so instead hand your server cash. Tips in inexpensive places aren’t really necessary, but if you go to more expensive restaurants, you are expected to tip between 10 and 15 percent.
▪ Morocco: Is all about bartering, especially in the town square in Marrakech. Street vendors can be a little aggressive, but they are used to being talked down. In restaurants, you can give a small tip to your server directly.
▪ South Africa: Tipping is customary and 10-15 percent in restaurants and bars is acceptable. Tipping hotel porters, parking attendants, and airport porters is also customary and between 5-10 rand is usually enough.
▪ Italy: Tips are not necessarily expected, but leaving a few euros on the table if you’ve had a good meal is appreciated. Similar to France, there may be a line item that says “coperto,” which is basically a tip.
(Here’s a tip for servers everywhere: be friendly and punctual during the meal, not just when it is time for me to pay!)

WHAT THE FEDERATION?
The World Taekwondo Federation has bowed to the world of modern acronyms and decided to put an end to all the silly snickering that they heard every time their initials, W.T.F., were used in print or out loud. In a statement, the president of the organization said the acronym has “developed negative connotations in the digital age” and will now be known as ‘World Taekwondo’. The W.T.F. had used the initials for more than 44 years. In 2009, the Wisconsin Tourism Federation rebranded itself to the Tourism Federation of Wisconsin for the same reason. (Wait until they find out that ‘W.T.’ is internet slang for ‘White Trash’!
