Hollywoodlife.com reports as many as 3 “Glee” movies could be on the way and all the show’s stars are signed up (likely in the fine print of their original TV contract) . . . Rumors that 20-year-old “Twilight Saga” star Kristen Stewart is taking over for Angelina Jolie in a “Wanted” movie sequel continue to swirl (soon she’ll be signed for every movie in development) . . . • Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band – Today the “London Calling: Live In Hyde Park” concert film is released on Blu-Ray and DVD. The almost-3-hour performance features 26 tracks recorded at the “Hard Rock Calling Festival” June 28, 2009.
• George Strait – He usually limits touring to a few weekends in January and February, but has extended his shows with Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack with 11 dates this Fall.
• Hole – Tonight Courtney Love and company kick off a tour in Philadelphia PA in support of the new album “Nobody’s Daughter”.
• Lil Wayne – He’s pled guilty to 1 count of possession of a dangerous drug relating to a 2008 incident in Arizona in return for a sentence of 36 months probation. It begins after he’s released from NY’s Rikers Island prison where he’s doing 12 months on an illegal weapons charge.
• Rolling Stones – Today the “Rolling Stones In Exile” DVD is released, an hour-long documentary detailing the making of their landmark 1972 album “Exile on Main Street”.

There’s a unique new job opportunity opening up in China … being a white guy. Apparently, it’s beneficial in the eyes of some Chinese businessmen to have a Caucasian standing around looking important. So that’s what some are being paid to do. Basically, you put on a suit, shake some hands, and make some money. Recruiting fake businessmen is one way to create the image of connection that Chinese companies crave. Masquerading as a fake businessman can be a lucrative gig for expatriates looking for work. (Almost as fulfilling as modeling.)

TOUGH TALK:
University of California researchers have discovered we can sense the physical strength of a man by listening to a short clip of his voice. It’s thought the ability is a hangover from a time when it was a matter of life and death to make a quick assessment of someone’s physical prowess. It’s a more complex skill than just noting how deep or loud the voice is, as the way tough men talk varies from individual-to-individual. Study participants were able to accurately assess strength in male voices from all over the world. Interestingly, this innate ability only seems to apply to the voices of men. (You can tell women are strong … because they are.)

• The ‘ABC islands’ of the Caribbean (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao) lie outside the path that hurricanes have been following for hundreds of years. That makes them a safer alternative.
• Check out itasoftware.com, a website used by travel agents, travel websites, and airlines. While you can’t book your tickets through this site, it does offer lots of other insider info.
• Many travel websites install ‘cookies’ on your computer when you visit that will ID you if you come back. Sometimes this info is used to increase prices if you repeatedly run the same searches for airlines or hotels. If you want the best deal, toss your ‘cookies’ or turn them off.
• Forget traveler’s checks, these days the most economical way to manage money in a foreign country will probably be withdrawing currency from local ATMs. Ask about fees ahead of time.
• All cruise lines have loyalty programs and the more you vacation with one company, the better the perks will get.
• Airlines don’t exactly promote this fact, but it’s possible to book a business-class or first-class ticket for the same price as a regular (not discount) coach seat. They’re called Q-up, Y-up, or Z-up fares, and they all amount to first class upgrades of coach fares.
• Sometimes you’ll get a cheaper rate by booking airline seats individually, because single seats can easily go unsold … especially middle seats in the back of the plane.

A $20-million-plus roll-out plan is underway to bring the SST supersonic jet back. The retired ‘Rolls Royce Of the Skies’ – which had a record average cruise speed of Mach 2 – could be revived for ‘heritage flights’ just in time for the 2012 Olympics in London. A 4-month trial related to the Air France Concorde crash that killed 100 passengers and 9 crew members in 2000 ended days ago and now a British-French team is conducting tests at the Le Bourget Air & Space Museum in France to get the world’s first supersonic passenger plane back in the air. Guinness World Records has confirmed Roger Menees of Anna, Illinois has set a new world record for the lowest note ever sung by a human. The bus driver for gospel and rock musicians managed the feat in his recording studio, hitting 0.393 hertz – a very low F-sharp. The previous record was 0.797 hertz.
