BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
TMZ.com is reporting that 85-year-old “Playboy” founder Hugh Hefner’s 24-year-old fiancée Crystal Harris has called off their wedding mere days before the big event was scheduled (Saturday), apparently due to a nasty argument (and her recent trip to an optometrist) . . . First-year judge Jennifer Lopez says she’s glad she isn’t being pressured because she’s ‘on the fence’ about returning to “American Idol” (FOX) for a 2nd season (apparently $12 million wasn’t quite enough) . . . This summer’s sequels to “The X-Men”, “Pirates Of the Caribbean”, and “The Hangover” have all made the latest list of most-pirated films via illegal download (funny, don’t see “Hobo With a Shotgun” on here anywhere) . . . FOX-TV is set to test market “Dish Nation” in 7 TV markets this July, a new series featuring top morning radio shows that offer ‘funny, fresh commentary on pop culture’ (it’s radio – with pictures) . . . 18-year-old pop star Selena Gomez says she’s feeling much better after being hospitalized last week for a combination of food poisoning and exhaustion (that’s one too many excuses to sound legit) . . . “Pawnee: The Greatest Town in America”, a book from the point of view of Amy Poehler’s “Parks & Recreation” character ‘Leslie’ will be published this October (do people who watch sitcoms also read?) . . . Cheech Marin, of Cheech & Chong fame, has been cast as Rob Schneider’s father-in-law in an as-yet-untitled new TV comedy pilot (now there’s 2 reasons not to watch) . . . And 52-year-old actor Sean Bean (HBO’s “Game of Thrones”) has been stabbed in a London pub, and not only did he refuse medical attention – he ordered another drink (now THAT’S tough!).

FOR THE RECORD:
So who is this 22-year-old that’s just purchased the highest-priced house in America? Her name is Petra Ecclestone, daughter of British billionaire and Formula 1 racing boss Bernie Ecclestone. She’s reportedly laid out circa $150 million for the Holmby Hills, California home of Candy Spelling (widow of mega-producer Aaron and mother of sorta actress Tori).
