More From the Sheethouse!

BS SHOW BIZ BUZZ:
Fans of ABC-TV’s hit series “Desperate Housewives” are burning up the Internet trying to figure out which character dies on SUNDAY’s episode, a rumored plot twist that has been confirmed by producers (clues from the last show suggest Nicollette Sheridan’s ‘Edie Britt’ could be the target – but wouldn’t it be kinda dumb to kill off a main character from a pistol-hot show?) . . . Angelina Jolie has decided to adopt her next child from Africa, after 3-year-old Maddox (from Cambodia) decided that’s where he wants his brother to come from (now that’s family planning!) . . . “Alexander” star Colin Farrell says he wants to give up one-night-stands before he turns into a sex addict . . . Nicky Hilton wants to launch a music career and has secretly sought help from sister Paris’ ex-boyfriend Nick Carter, who’s reportedly agreed to record a duet with her (here comes a catfight!) . . . George Michael is the latest Brit music star to have a break-in at his mansion (is there an alarm shortage over there?) . . . Meantime, those in the know are speculating that Ozzy & Sharon Osbournes’ burglary was an ‘inside job’ (“Jack, where were you on the night of the 22nd?”) . . . “Malcolm In the Middle” mom Jane Kaczmarek (wife of “West Wing” star Bradley Whitford) has to have another hip replacement operation, less than a year after undergoing her first (going for a matched set, are we?).

BS MUSIC NOTES:
• Aslyn – “Be The Girl “ is from her debut album “Lemon Love”. Raised outside Gainesville FL, she began studying classical piano when she was 7-years-old.
• Eric Clapton – NEXT YEAR he and the rest of the members of classic rock group Cream will play a series of reunion concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall. They last played at their 1993 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. And before that – in 1969.
• Gwen Stefani – She says she’s enjoying fashion designing for her ‘LAMB’ collection so much, she intends to do it for the rest of her life.
• LeAnn Rimes – SUNDAY she launches a symphonic tour in support of her first Christmas album, “What a Wonderful World”, in Red Bank NJ. She will be accompanied by a 65-piece orchestra during the 12-show mini-tour.
• Madonna – She’s hoping to turn her children’s book “The English Roses” into a film, and is looking to get it into production by the end of the year.
• Nelly – TOMORROW he’s on NBC-TV’s “Saturday Night Live”.
• Reuben Studdard – Word is the reason he’s hospitalized is pneumonia. That means a no-go for TONIGHT & Saturday’s scheduled shows at Caesars Atlantic City. Maybe he’s weak from trying to crash-diet his weight under 400 lbs?
• Shania Twain – She has now sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.
• U2 – They’re on course to sell 1 million copies of their latest album “How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb” in just one week.

HAVE YOU GOT ATKIN’S ASS?
A newly-released Northwestern University study of over 4,000 adults in 4 countries reveals a stunning conclusion – the thinnest people on Earth eat the most carbohydrates! Even more amazing, the people who eat the most protein are actually the heaviest. But before you reach for another doughnut, realize that the carbs that are good for you aren’t from things like fries or white bread which contain lots of sugar. They’re complex carbs such as whole grains, fruits & vegetables. But the more animal protein consumed, the higher the body weight. The bottom line, according to one researcher – any diet that recommends increasing saturated fat poses a risk. (Crap! Now we’re back to eating spinach, bark and berries again.)
