• A promotional poster for the “Diana” bio-pic has been removed from the site of the Princess of Wales’ fatal car crash in Paris, France after its advertising location sparked outrage. The print ad, depicting Naomi Watts as the late British royal, was posted at Place de l’Alma near the entrance to the tunnel where Princess Di died in 1997, and just a few feet away from the Flame of Liberty statue, which has become an unofficial memorial to Diana.

• Acting couple Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones are giving their marriage another try after he moved back into the family home. The pair split in August after 13 years of marriage, but Douglas continuously downplayed rumors they were divorcing and insisted the problems were temporary. A new report suggests Zeta-Jones has now ‘allowed’ Douglas to return to their New York home, where she has been living with their 2 children.

• Charles Ferguson, director of a proposed Hillary Clinton documentary, has cancelled the project, saying political interference has made the film impossible. In August, the Republican Party voted to boycott debates on CNN if the doc about the potential 2016 presidential candidate went ahead. It also said it would boycott NBC-TV, which plans a mini-series on Clinton. That series, still in the early stages of production, is set to star actress Diane Lane as the former First Lady.

• Jodie Foster has apparently found love with TV host Ellen DeGeneres’ ex-girlfriend. The 50-year-old actress has been linked to photographer Alexandra Hedison, who dated DeGeneres for 3 years until they split in 2004. Earlier this year, Foster used her Golden Globe Awards acceptance speech to thank her ex-partner Cydney Bernard for her long-time support.

• Arcade Fire, Eminem, and Lady Gaga are set to headline the 1st-ever “YouTube Awards”. The biggest video-sharing site will host its own music awards show on November 3rd, to be live-streamed from NYC’s Pier 36. The 90-minute inaugural event will feature performances by mainstream artists as well as YouTube sensations Lindsey Stirling and CDZA. Nominations will be announced October 17th; fans can then vote online by liking or sharing videos.

• Kelly Clarkson – She’s revealed that she has recorded almost an entire country music album that she hopes to release eventually. She says she’s yet to finish it because she’s been on tour.
• Luke Bryan – Tonight his 5th annual “Farm Tour” of small towns that rarely see concerts begins in Statesboro GA. The trek takes in 8 venues, finishing October 12th in Valdosta GA.
• Pink Floyd – In a new interview with BBC, Roger Waters says he plans to make a new solo album. He also admits he was ‘wrong’ to sue his ex-bandmates to prevent them from using the group’s name after he left in the mid-80s.
• Tupac Shakur – A bio-pic on the late rapper will finally begin filming next year in Atlanta, to be executive produced by his mother, Afeni Shakur. The star of the movie is yet to be announced.

Tennis star Venus Williams has been denied the chance to top her own record for world’s fastest serve by the absence of proper equipment. At the Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo, Williams blasted a 209 km/hr (130 mph) serve in her match against Canada’s Eugenie Bouchard as measured by a spectator. But the World Tennis Association doesn’t sanction the use of radar guns in Japan so the record isn’t recognized. That means Williams’ 207-km/hr (129 mph) serve at the 2007 US Open remains the fastest serve in women’s tennis to date.
