• Taylor Swift – Her just-announced “Red Tour” will include 58 shows in 45 cities in 29 US states and 3 Canadian provinces in 2013. It kicks off in Omaha, Nebraska on March 13th.
• Toby Keith – Release of his new album “Hope On the Rocks” got moved up to today from November 13th. The album, which also comes in a ‘deluxe edition’, includes the single “I Like Girls That Drink Beer”.

Today Philips launches its new ‘Hue’ smart lightbulbs, which are being sold exclusively in Apple Stores worldwide. The electronics giant becomes the latest to launch a web-enabled LED lightbulb that automates lighting in the home using integrated wireless technology. App users can set lighting patterns or make it look like someone is home while they are away. A starter pack (MSRP: $199) includes 3 bulbs (600 lumen/50 watt equivalent) that work in regular lamps. Also included is a ‘smart bridge’, which connects the bulbs to your wireless router and with each other. Eventually other products could also possibly integrate with them. Once connected, the bulbs can be set up in minutes to link with ‘Hue’ smartphone and tablet apps.

✗ The flu vaccine contains thiomerosal, which may be harmful. Actually it’s not they type of mercury shown to be harmful, and it was removed from almost all vaccines in 2001 anyway.
